Need a lower unit foot for a 1998 225hp Evinrude Ocean Pro.
Not sure what other years and HP are interchangeable but know there are other years and HP that will work. Not looking to spend a fortune, just wanting a good used one for a project boat motor.

This is what you need. Most of the v-6 Rudes and Johnson’s had the same foot for around that year. Did the forward-reverse dog go out? Kinda common and pretty easy to fix.
I think you should unload that project to me. 
I got a foot that needs a motor.

I really do not want to sell mine. I run my Rude all the time, its my insurance policy. I had to do a lot of horse trading to get mine and I see them selling from 6-800$ used when you can find them.

Yep I agree about Chris. I see them asking $1200 also but not selling. There are several nice ones for sell for $250-$300 but all in Va and Fla. Not wanting to go that far nor pay “dealer” pricing. I am looking for a laying around the backyard model if you know what I mean. I have some cool stuff to horse trade also. Like a pair of Clemson/Carolina tickets
When I go back up home over the holidays I will see if I can find one cheap. Used marine parts seem to be cheaper up in PA. My buddy already has me 2 small outboards he bought at yardsales under 75$.
I send him money through PayPal and he takes them to my parents farm and they sit in the barn. I will tell him to look for a Evinrude foot.
I would like to find a good 3.0l Evinrude to build up or a Merc 2.5 just to play with. I think a 2.5 on a bayboat running 7500 would turn some heads.
