called for 2’ at 5/10 out of the SE! blew all day at 15, steady 3 to 4 footers. caught hell trying to stay hooked up on the #s in matts 285 pursuit. frist drop put 3 gags in the boat on live pins.then it slowed down. got in the water at 2pm to try & get some meat, no current but the viz was only 10 to 12 feet. saw tons of short gags & scamps & 5 or so that were at least 20lbs, but they would not let us get a shot. shot a nice 26" ars, then called it a day. tough day on the water with jimmy c, smiley & matt. calling for 1’ in the am, will try again if the seas will let us.
We had a great day of diving yesterday viz was 35’-40’ in 60’. bottom temp was 80. A little raggy on top but not big. Have a group goin Sat as well, hope the forecast holds.
It was pretty sloppy out there yesterday. Sure wish all those fish we saw were hungry, but you can’t make them eat. I was glad to have you guys aboard and learn more every time we go out. We’ll do it again real soon. I agree with you on the bouy, we do need it back.
Jimmy, it was great to meet you. Ken, I’ll talk atcha soon…
Thanks for ride matt, nice fishin’ machine you got there. Look forward to ridin’ again.
Thanks for the protips Bugcather and Jimmy.
Fishing on the bottom is like having sex with the lights turned off. It feels good… but I wanna see it.
Lights On!
