Need Electronics

I’m getting a 202 scout SF with no electronics. I need some advice on what to put on it. I’m good with just the down view and chirp. I would like to get a combo unit about 7" screen. I have looked at a few different units from lowrance, garmin and simrad. I don’t need the best unit out there but would like a decent one. I would like to keep it around $500. Would like some feed back from anyone With pros and cons on there units.

Thanks

I snagged my Simrad GO7 with ducer and map card for $599…for a full touch screen model. I love it so far, but it hasn’t left the driveway…

Leadenwahboy where did you find that package at?

Was a West Marine deal actually. They do some rebates often as well.

Check out the Garmin echomap chirp 74sv. We use alot of these on new boats. Comes preloaded with their G2 maps and also has Chirp, down view, and side view. Great little units.

I bought a Garmin 73sv from Cabelas for 499 not too long ago and its pretty awesome. Have a Simrad NSS12 on my big boat and it does all that I need it too plus some. Garmin and Simrad make solid units.

I put the Simrad Go7 XSE with Total Scan Transducer(side, down and chirp) on my Pioneer 197. Absolutely love the unit. Has wireless capabilities and plenty of options for information/displays etc.
