Maybe tiger shark…?
Love all the suggestions…this is for a student’s project so would really like to zero in on a candidate. I am pretty well versed on shark teeth id, but this one is completely stumping me. Spent many hours looking through books and the internet…still no luck.

PM Gotchcovered, he knows all about sharks teeth.
Take it or send a picture of it to the DNR. On fort Johnson road. Go to the last big building on the left there…they have a lot of resources in things like this…and btw…there’s a information building…the old house ther…where you can pick up some cool stuff for kids…and fish info too. Nice folks there

Squalicorax, broken hammerhead maybe?
A better picture might help. I can’t tell what the top side looks like or if it’s broken at all. Root looks really big
Thanks pen…great idea…and, 23sailfish, that is what is throwing me…very large root, not broken or part of jaw bone. I will see what I can do for better pics. Guess it may be a trip to JI sometime in the future.
