Can anyone provide any information on fishing in the James Island area?
Are there any boating hazards to avoid?

what part of James Island? Clark Sound, Stono, Wappoo, Harbor? that’s a very big question…

I will be putting in at Wappoo cut or riverland terrace landing so from the Wappoo would be a good start. I don’t know where Clark sound is but will find it one day.
There aren’t any fish around James Island this time of year. They all seem to migrate slightly north around IOP and up towards Bulls Bay. You know how you’ve been seeing everyone posting their full coolers of shrimp from BB? The fish follow the shrimp so your best bet is to try up that way.
