Planning to dive up some live lionfish for an exhibit at the aquarium. The shallower the better for venting purposes. Any of you divers seeing them on commanche, y73 or the gardens area?

Can’t recall the last time I dove a live bottom and didn’t see one… I would think that you are good to go in the gardens.

Anyway as the Lionfish in charleston. I can tell you that my commercial divers are finding them in 90-120 ft of water. All structure rocks, hard bottom, everywhere just sold 300lbs in 6 days. If you happen to have a comm lic and a land sell lic. I’ll buy any extra you get. Pm me

i took my sisters diving a few weeks ago on subway cars and they saw some giant ones - they going to be on every artificial spot in the 90-100ft depth
