You need a tachometer to check your WOT (Wide Open Throttle) RPMS before you reprop. You may already be running the right pitch for your boat? You may just need to get the same size prop but change over to stainless?

Second the need to know what wide-open-throttle RPMs you’re running. You can get a little tach off of amazon for less than $15. Most of these little hour meter/tach gadgets will let you select 2 or 4 stroke motors config. I put that one on my Yamaha 25 and it works well enough. It wobbles about 40 rpms around some value. But, I figure on a 25hp motor plus or minus 40 is good enough.

Once you know your RPMs at WOT and your motor’s prescribed range for RPMs at WOT, then you know whether you are running a reasonable diameter and pitch for your situation.

Is there some performance issue you’re trying to address?

Normally Mike at Skip’s propeller can tell you what you need. He is great to work with.

Thanks all , no performance issues . Just a little beat up .
