Need recommendation for trailer tongue jack

Is there a good trailer tongue jack? One that rolls well for a 2500 lb boat & trailer? Do they make one in stainless? Does dual wheel help? I’m talking about moving trailer on concrete.

For me, in the past, I have found that the cheap tounge jacks work almost as good and for as long as the expensive ones. For moving the boat, I would reccomend one of these:

Thanks for the input but I need help with a tongue jack not a trailer dolly.

Scout;
The pitviper is right. Most any cheap jack works for its purpose, none
imo works well to move trailer around “very much”. Dolly does that!!:wink:

The only jack I have had any luck with for a heavy trailer is a travel trailer jack that you must weld on! I welded a double wheel on a short piece of pipe a little bigger diamiter that the jack on put it on as I crank the jack down! Its heavy duty but it does the job.

I have an electric 12v dolly but sometimes you don’t have space to maneuver so you rely on the trailer jack. Fulton now offers some newer jacks that have larger wheels and are made from extruded aluminum. I was hoping someone might have experience with these jacks.

Fulton f2 double wheel is the fancy version. Nice jack for the money.

I’ve had the Fulton and the Northern Tool version. The Fulton’s wheels locked up tighter than you know what in 2 years, wouldn’t roll at all and required disassembly and cleaning and lubricant to make them work. It lasted 3 years total before it wouldn’t clean up and work correctly.

The Northern Tool version is still going strong, no issues at all 3 years later. Both are double wheel units, and both worked well for moving boat on concrete when new.

A very important part to “ease” of rolling a boat around on concrete in my opinion is tongue weight. It needs to be balanced well to be moved easily.
