Good Morning;
I would really enjoy leaving my spinning and bait casting gear at home this year when fishing my flats boat. I’ve been fishing these waters for 5 years. I split my time between inshore and off shore and the trips are almost always dictated by the conditions. I tend to stay away from the guided areas and have found penty of fish with out competeing with those that are making their living at it. I have been fortunate to fly fish in many states around the US for trout Salmon and Steal Head. I would also be willing to organize a trip or two to NC or TN. I know the Davidson, Looking Glass, Avery, North Mills, Tucaseegee, Hiawasee, and Upper Nanahala. It kills me that I have not used my salt water fly rod but a half a dozen times. I fish about 70 days a year and I would really enjoy meeting a couple of you who live in the Charleston area and like to fish the fly. It gets really old really fast trying to set up my flats boat with wind and tied by myself and a fly rod. I would really enjoy fishing with someone who can haddle poling a flats boat so we can take turns teaming up on the Red Fish and Sea Trout if you like. Perhaps one of you will invite me to the long rodders meeting as your guest or invite me to the next fly tieing session. Look forward to hearing from you. gordonplatt1@comcast.net
