I am looking to buy some new or in really good condition inshore fishing rods. Thanks
Penn Battle Combo 2000, 2500, or 3000 series.
Run around $120, can be had at most local shops and a few of the big box stores.
It’s an easy good baseline setup and seems to be a good bang for the buck.
If you got $$$, St. Croix rods are very popular with Shimano Stradic reels.
Thanks
ALX Boku series. Built in SC (Aiken). I own eleven ALX rods in all, four Boku.

st croix mojo inshore 7’ MF, works great with penn conflict 2500, caught bull reds with no problem. somewhat pricey but completely worth it.
I have 2 locally built Big Bear Rods. 7ft med light. Great for inshore fishing and fresh water fishing. They are 9 of 10 cosmetic condition, 10 of 10 for use. Retail for 150 or so each, I’ll sell you both for 180$. PM me if interested.

I just bought a Penn Battle II 2500 combo w/ Penn Rod at Haddrell’s this morning $119.99. I’ve had no problems with the Battle 4000’s I’ve had for about 3 years. As a side note, I picked up an old ABU 5000 I left there a couple of weeks ago for repairs, and left a Penn 4400SS for repairs. Their service after the sale is great.
