need something to get and on/off the boat

I have been boating for 20+ years and never had an issue with launching and climbing on/off the boat by myself until I bought my Robalo Cayman 206. I love the boat but I just have a very hard time to get on and off this boat (trolling motor is in the way somewhat, but not the major issue). I have looked at all the “standard” solutions (steps etc) out there but I do not seem to find a good one. I am afraid I need something custom built. Any suggestions ???

I have seen a few trailers with steps from the hitch area to the winch stand, seemed to work well! But on the beach I would say install a swim platform with boarding ladder on the stern.

Have seen these advertised but don’t know anything more about them:

Looks like something I might be interested in
making for the boat.
Age is making everything alittle harder these
days.

What about something like this…

I have to carry an 8’ ladder to acess my Bertram when it’s on the trailer! Cut up and old alu. ladder to the right length and put the rubber ends on it!

I built this for my Lund.

Nice work Bob! I know it got to be a lot easier to access now!

Beats the heck out of crawling up over the bow! I’m getting to old for that crap.

nice, but not really helpful when launching/retrieving the boat

That looks pretty good. Something like that would probably work. I will send you a PM (or call) soon
