Had some luck asking for rays back before water was full of them, and now asking again that they are everywhere.
My team and I need some rays for our shark fishing. Frozen is fine, but would prefer to pick up in james island, folly, downtown area-- don’t have a lot of time to run out to mt. p or summerville.
text me 631-553-6301 if you can help us out. We also don’t want you to remove all the monsters from the gene pool so we can leave the 50+lbers alone! 5-20lbers are perfect.

how do you fish them, hunks or filets ect???
average ray makes 3 baits, 2 wings and 1 midsection, small ray goes out whole, and large rays wings are cut in 2 and midsection in 2. really big 50+ lbers go back.

small rays meaning the size of a dinner plate or smaller. just look at my facebook or the lemon i posted in the surf/pier section-- he ate a 5lb chunk of ray

I tried the whole sting ray bait today or it was a skate wouldn’t think it would make a difference. But anyway how the hell do you keep the crabs off. They were like piranha on my baits.
those are some BIG fishes 
bump, still need some baits. and crabs don’t eat the rays. you can leave them for 20+ hours and theyll be fine.

Are you still paying the same you weren’t as last time? My boat is running now so i can get out and get several. My hole for ray hasnt been fished in a while
Was watching Nat Geo tonight and they showed a hammerhead pinning a ray down on the bottom with his head and turning him so that he could get him in his mouth… Awesome.

Was cleaning a 9’2" 300 lb Lemon a few years back and found at least 10 ray spines in it’s spinal canal area. I was washing out the blood line and there they were, all over the place. Came through the stomach walls evidently during feeding. I’m more careful these days when cleaning them.
