Anyone have a npt/sea star adapter fitting that comes in a HF5528 kit? They come 3 in a kit and I could bet that the average buyer of a kit needs two of them for their autopilot. I bought what I thought was 3 off ebay, but showed up as only 1. They refunded my money and told me to keep it. I guess they felt bad, their pic showed the label and it clearly said 3/pack. Then they showed a pic of one like this. I assumed it was a pack because it didn’t specify anything otherwise. Anyway, I’ll buy it and pay shipping, just rather not pay $25 for a $4 fitting.
Charleston valve and fitting. We go there for some really off the wall stuff and they usually have it. That looks like a standard nickel plated fitting…I bet they have it.
It’s a 1/4" NPT x some compression savvy thread that I can’t find the details on. The NPT goes into the pump/helm and then the other end accepts a compression nut and their 3/8" hydraulic hose. I think the hose side has a shape to the inside that is important too because of it’s influence in sealing the hose.
We use a ton of hydraulic hoses & fittings on the railway equipment where I work. If you can find out what size the fitting is, I’ll get a couple and send them to you.
