Need to play the lottery

Last night in the Harbor was awful. The wind was screaming, it was hard to control the boat and throwing the net was a challenge, but I’m one of the guys who’s glass is half full, so I found a silver lining from last night. On the first pass, we ran over a pole that was just floating in the harbor. Evidently it had pulled out of some poor saps string and was heading out to sea. IT WAS MY #4 POLE. Amazing right! Found it 20 yards from my line up. Wait it gets better. Then we noticed my #2 pole was missing too. I’m not going to get this lucky twice. Well on our last pass of the night, as the tide was going out, and we were getting set up, there just below the water surface was our missing #2 pole. Got all my poles back and 3/4 cooler…it don’t get much better than that.
