Negative LT this weekend!

Hoping to be on the water!!! Good luck to all!

Maybe obvious but, I’m curious what the benefits of neg tide maybe ? And where could I find a copy of that book? Thank you!

Less places for em to hide?

Marsh hens in the morning, oysters in the afternoon!

Several good tide apps out there, some have wind forecast as well

Appreciate it! I’ll order one. I use tide times app on my phone but, like this version!

Yeah the tides apps are great but I think this book is also educational and helps plan better. To be honest I never really understood the differences between ebb and flood tides, what causes king tides, why some tides worse or slack that others, etc… The Tide Log book explains alot of topics in the front and back pages to help improve your knowledge if you don’t already know. The other benefit is long term planning. I knew three months ago that there would be a negative tide this weekend. So I protected this weekend from work family and friends activity…not that I dont want to be with my family and friends…lol

To answer @bassn1976 …negative tide also means a higher high tide. To achieve this more volume of water has to move in/out in the same 6 hour period. Therefore stronger currents flushing bait!!! Yum Yum said the Sea Trout!! Chomp Chomp said the Red!!

Makes sense, never considered the stronger currents & their effects. Appreciate the info & explanation. I have the next 2 year editions on order.
