Does anyone know of somewhere to get my cast net repaired in the Florence, MB or GTown area? I live near Hartsville but am willing to ship or drive if it’s not too far.
My repair jobs look like something out of a 60’s horror show. Any help is appreciated.
How bad is it? Why not try to fix it yourself? I just spent a couple hours fixing my sons, I used waxed dental floss. I have used it before and it seems to work pretty well. Wasn’t the prettiest of jobs but the net opens and closes like it is supposed to.
Use dental floss, this website gives you the basic how to etc. http://www.lafishmag.com/nets.html
I patched a couple of tears on mine this weekend. I dabbed a little superglue on the knots just to be safe.

I have tried it myself but evidentally I have 2 left hands. If I can’t find someone to do it for me I may try again though.
I repair mine all the time, and like freedom said, it ain’t pretty but it opens and closes like it should and catches what ever you throw it over. I usually just use mono.
