Cast net has a few wounds from oysters. What kind of knot is usually used to tie the floss that is used to repair the holes?

I just do 3 overhand knots on each stitch with the floss. I use the floss in the boat - mono at the house. I have used red fishing line and double knotted then add a drop of super glue. Red line makes it easier to see what you’re doing.
