Seems to me the sit-ons would be a little wet. That wouldn’t be a problem in the summer but I don’t know about winter. I have two keowee’s a one seater and a two. I do get some water in them but not enough to soak me. Had an otter jump in my yak with me a few years back. Scared the crap out of me.
i have a wilderness systems tarpon 140 and couldn’t be happier w/ it
i’ve heard the heritage marquesa is supposed to be real good too
Ive got an old school Wilderness Systems 15’ sit on top. Brain fart and cant think of the model name right now but they don’t make it any more. Its faster than any of the newer ones I’ve been on lately, and once you get the feel of it, you can stand up and pole yourself around in it.

I tied the Ultimate 14.5 on Saturday from Time Out. Even though I did not catch any fish, the kayak was great. I really could stand up in it and cast a net and fish and just stetch my legs. It was windy and handled it well against the current in docksite creek:smiley:</font id=“Comic Sans MS”></font id=“size3”></font id=“blue”>
I bought the Ultimate 14.5 kayak. It handles well. I’m going duck hunting Thanksgiving in it. Time Out is great!!</font id=“Comic Sans MS”></font id=“size2”></font id=“size3”></font id=“blue”>
