Neverwet.

First post!
Have any of you tried or used the product called Neverwet by rustolium for any boating applications? I was thinking about coating my 175 Evenrude (under the cowling). Maybe in some of my storage compartments. I looks like it would be a great salt water deterant
Here is where I saw in I case you haven’t seen it.

I will be trying some on my trailer. In the brake and light area!

I wonder what would happen if you sprayed a blue crab with it and tossed him back.

I just heard of it for the first time earlier today! Haven’t yet looked it up.

Sounds great for waterproofing rain gear and boots also.

We also talked about stain guarding the entire interior of your fishing truck.

Before I bought it, I’d look into how long it lasts or how “durable” it is. I’ve read that finger smudges mess it up, but that was second hand info. Otherwise I think it would be great on our rods/reels to keep saltwater off of them.

Wow. I wouldn’t want that stuff near my skin, but holy cow that was an impressive video.

Seems weird with these posts though!

Rust-Oleum NeverWet, available at Home Depot, is a superhydrophobic spray-on coating that repels water, mud, ice and other liquids. DETAILS: http://bit.ly/103PQPL

I painted my foot with a flat black Duracoat which is a two part enamel like paint for guns. It has a really hard finish after about a month. Still waiting to hit an oyster bed and test that out.

Some of the other videos showed that it only lasted a few minutes…

I will use it on my trailer and around the seam of my trailer lights, for a test run. Then maybe on my tires and rims. After that, who knows.

He has to have ties to the company it’s the third time with that same post like it is done random by a program or something seem s weird has anybody had luck with this product yet. I am waiting for the fourth post of II am using it on my trailer. Apologize if I am wrong but something seems fishy.
