First trip in the newly redone 20 ft SeaCraft. Leave the dock at 4 and met a fairly rough sea (for me) on the way to EB. Could only make 17-20 kts. Finally got out and set lines around 130 ft and got the first one within five min. Thought it was going to be consistent but it got slow and ended up going 4/5. With one round 25-27lbs. Also a large alby and walterboro weehoo. Beautiful ride in.
Sun: leave about 430 towards SWB on a great ocean and drop lines in 130 or so again. Got 3 early on and then trolled out to 300 with nothing else to show for it, save for another WW. Left at 12 and glad we did as the wind got honkin on the way in making for a sweet soaking beam chop.
Wished there was some more meat in the fridge, but was quite glad to get out and back for the first time my boat.
