Nearly bought a new boat (deal is done, just waiting on title). Became friends with the guy I’m buying it from, so we decided deal or no deal we’d fish Saturday!
Fished outgoing in Beresford. Lost a trout boatside but the rest of falling was a bust. Fished structure like crazy. Switched creeks for incoming. Pulled a slot red and a rat out. All on MM/Jighead so far. Went back to Berseford and fished artie. I got 2 slot trout and my boy pulled off a dink.
LOVE the boat! More important, Momma and kids LOVE the boat. v-Pilot failed, so I think I’m getting an i-Pilot. We’ll be locked and loaded once we get that puppy on!

If you look real closely you’ll see the outline of a Clemson paw on the windshield of that boat. I just finished blasting it off with a pressure washer when I took the pic, but it left some kinda funk behind, kinda like Tommy Bowden did.
Joseph, my last boat had a 4-stroke Honda. I sat at a dock giggling with another 4 stroke Honda owner while our boats ran. Talked like we were in the front yard, both motors running. EXCELLENT motors!
Vinman, We got our 2012 218 on Wednesday and did our maiden voyage on Saturday. All break-in riding and next trip we will be able to go full throttle. LOTS of room and it will take some getting used to as far as steering and such. Wife put in on the trailer first try with an incoming tide, stiff southerly wind, and a crowd watching. No fish caught despite float going under twice. Beautiful day Saturday and I did catch a sunburn, lol! You already got the skunk off your ride so I need to try harder. Take care, Mike.

That’s a fine looking boat. I think that black hull and the honda engine look really cool together. Of course honda makes a top notch engine. Buying from a dealer that engine would add a couple of grand to the price. Good luck and safe travels!!!
