Im new to the forum not SC. I just picked up a new to me 25 foot boat. I have launched it a few times from a few ramps. After dealing with this i know i need a slip. Not sure if i to get a dry slip or store it in the water. I would like your recommendations on a spot. The two places I have looked at are Daniel island marina and rivers edge. The one thing I really like about rivers edge marina is the ramp right next to it. So if I ever want to pull the boat out of the weekend to work on it I can no problem. I did not see a ramp that I could use at denial marina. I also want to be close to the jetties. I dont like all the no wake zones on way out form rivers edge. Feels like it takes all day just to get to the harbor.
I store mine at DI Marina. The changes they have made there is awesome. Just used my boat today and they are very helpful. No ramp at the marina. If you need to trailer the boat, they can use the lifts to place the boat back on or, better yet, have a friend help you and take the boat to Remley’s for trailering.
BTW, DI Marina has quite a few work racks and they can have you ready to work on your boat in an hour.

Rivers Edge is the only way to go. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. If you are a fisherman they will take great care of you and save you a lot of time when it comes to getting the boat ready for the early morning depature. The ramp next door is nice as I take my boat in and out of the water at times for cleaning at the house. Boat has never been tore up and they take great care of them. If your interested PM me and I can answer any questions. Have had my boat there in a dry stack for 2 years and its easily the best thing I have done since buying a boat.
