Good job, standing up for your self.Next time don’t get in a hurry. I would sometimes bring a buddy with me when making a purchase.Usually one of the ww2 vets I worked with or my pop.

Glad to hear.
God bless the “ignore” function.
Good deal. I would still send the pics of the bad trailer to the trailer manufacturer. Let them know what happened.

I told Costa that I was a poster on this forum when they had screwed up a repair of my glasses several iterations causing about 2 months delays and I was leaving for beach-vacation in 3 days. They had them correctly fixed the same day and over-nighted them to me at their cost.
This forum means a lot to a lot of people.

This sounds very similar to dealer I was/am having problem with. Wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t same one. They are a sponsor on this site. They have agreed in principle to replace some items but they are dragging their feet to fix a problem that a simple phone call to order the parts would be all that’s needed. They were very attentive until they had the money now they don’t seem to care. I am going to give them a few more days then I may start naming names. Really no excuse for their inaction.
Glad to hear they owned up with the trailer!

I had similar experience with a sponsor/dealer. Had a tilt and trim unit leaking fluid from the back. Take it local and mechanic says the unit is cracked and needs to be replaced. Since a trim unit is over 3 grand I pick it up and take it to the ‘professionals’ , so I thought, to get a 2nd opinion. After a $100 diagnostic fee, I’m told it just needs seals. $800 later it still leaks. They tell for more $ they’ll replace my rams.Spent half the summer at the dealer. I pick it up and go to another dealer and get them to install new trim unit and get it back within a week.
