I would love to take some of the fellows on here who know a little about fishing out on my boat. But more importantly who know the water. I would love someone to come along and lend me their knowledge of the water ways around Charleston. A free fishing trip for you and a appreciative new friend as well.
Side note; anyone know the best way to attach some lights to this rig. Got my four LED’s attached to PVC and trying to figure a way to to attach to the boat. I have behind the standing plat form on the front on the gunal a place a c clamp might could attach to… IDK. Any opinions welcome.
I am in Columbia or else I would be happy to share my extremely limited knowledge. I would recommend getting a depth finder if you do not have one. Pick an area and scout it out during low tides. That way you see structure you would not see during higher tides. The depth finder will help you know where you can and can’t go and low tides lets you know absolutely. I bet someone will come along and offer to work with you but if they don’t, patience, time on the water and a depth finder can teach you an awful lot.
With that rig, you should have no problems catching fish.
Not sure what the lights are for either.

I have 4 24 inch led gigging lights I used with my kayak. I now got to find a way to rig up my boat with them. So they are used for flounder gigging. And thanks dfreedom
One suggestion, if those are steel rims, replace with galvanized. With as much as you fish saltwater, those things will be rusted bad in a couple of summers. I used halogens for gigging and have mounting hardware drilled through. With those rails you have, you can likely find something at lowes to easily connect your lights.
I live right beside the James island landing. Never been out on the water there though. Most the places I’ve gone so far are only kayak accessible. But I’m familiar with the Shem creek Pitt st area. But am happy to try any suggestions y’all have.
And thanks! I’m excited!! Will do tht when I get some more money. Funds are low right now. I’m thinking I can c clamp to the gunal or some way rig them to the railings
We use rod holder bases and bolts through PVC to hold ours on. Depending on what set up you want as to what to use. I shot you an email last night about shrimping.
Thanks dirty I think I’m going to do something similar
Sniper, thanks and let me know my boat is always five minutes away from a landing and I owe you a fishing trip. Also checkout my shrimping report. I found them
