I just ordered a 1900 Tidewater Bay Max. I am moving up from a 15’ bass boat 1987. I appreciate any advise from the group here around gps/sonar or any other additions needed for this new family member. Looking forward to getting it when built and seeing just how bad the shrimping will be this year. Either way we will have fun around the Charleston area.
Any advise appreciated as this is my first bay boat.

Congrats on the new ride. I just upgraded a 21’ bay and love it. Here are the things I would add if I was buying with your money:). 24V trolling motor, gps, fishfinder, vhf radio, stereo system, and a power pole! Just to name a few! Good luck and enjoy!

I don’t have one personally, but heard a lot of good things about them. I bought a 10’ stick it anchor which works just fine.
