New Boat!!!!!

After many many months of waiting and looking I picked up this guy. Needs a bit of work but it is a 2005 Grady White 258 with only 100 hours on the twin 150 Yamaha engines.

I am getting her back in shape with some wax, looking at possibly rebuilding the trailer or buying new and complete fuel system cleaning. I am a transplant from the pacific northwest but I am so excited to get out and go fishing here!

Beautiful boat. The hull looks very clean and I like the hard T-top. You cannot go wrong with a Grady hull or Yamaha engines. This boat will do well way offshore, inshore jettties or family boating. We don’t have salmon or halibut here like Pacific NW but we hold our own as a fishing destination. Enjoy!

I thought that was funny too, all that will be gone once I get it registered in SC.

Nice rig! hope it’s not your first, that a lot of boat for a beginer. Hope you have some experance with a boat that size, speaking from my past buys. PIA to go alone!

I had a Grady White 228 that I used to fish off the coast in Washington. I also had a 18 outrage. This is my first twin engine boat and that takes some getting used to. I was a **** show at the ramp the other day.

I plan on running the piss out of it up the coast and in the bays before heading off shore. I am going to put a whole lot of stuff on her, EPIRB, Radar and more. Lots of work to do but all of it is way more fun then working in the yard.

Great to hear! Have fun and good luck!

Suggestion. The ramps are steep here. You have a long bow pulpit and it is likely that it, or certainly the anchor will hit the winch mast. Lower the winch if you can even if it is only an inch or two. But keep a straight pull or slightly up. Then cut off the winch mast so it is just below the level of the highest part of the winch.
