Apparently W.L. Gore & Associates, inventor of Gore Tex and other space-age fibers, has invented a new fiber called Omni-Braid. Sufix recently partnered with Gore and plans to release a new superline using Omni-Braid.
What’s so revolutionary about that? For one, Omni-Braid is said to be chemically stable, which means it won’t break down. That means you’ll have to change lines less often. Perhaps more important, it’s said to have a lower coefficient of friction than any superline currently on the market. That means smoother casts, but also little to no noise as it works through the line guides. It’s also said to have better abrasion-resistance than current products.
Suffix braid is definitely the best out there for the money right now. Be interested to see this new product.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.
