Hey y’all,
Tonight, I tried my first set of BSB fillets on the grill.
I sprinkled the fillets with salt, pepper, and paprika. Then, laid out some strips of bacon (everything is better with bacon, remember!!) in some foil, laid the fillets on top of the bacon, then sprinkled with lemon juice. Folded the foil over to create a packet of sorts. Cooked on about 6 minutes per side, in the foil packet, and VIOLA!! It was really, really good. Usually, I’ve been frying them lately, so to see this result was really cool.
Anyway, enjoy.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

The bacon was cooked, just not crispy. Me, I prefer to have my bacon on the soft side, not crispy, so it was really good for me. It was not at all soggy, very edible and firm, just not what you would think of as crispy, breakfast bacon. In fact, it was a pepper jack bacon that we had some left over. Really made it pop!
