New Forums

We have upgraded to a much newer version of our forum software with many new features, included better small screen usage (phones).
We are still working through some minor issues (like Avatars) but should have all cleared up soon. You should be able to login with your existing username and password; if you have your browser set to save it for you, you should not even have to re-login.
We attempted to move this with as little data loss and as quickly as humanly possible - Enjoy!

Important info is that the 2 squares in the upper right corner makes it look more like before. It groups the forums.

when i use the quick reply, it does not show up. but replys do

Same here Fishb8… Once we get through the growing pains and get used to this newness…all should be well… I hope :+1:

I noticed this as well FishB8 Any other issues post them in this thread and we will work out some of the kinks. The goal was to make the forum more user friendly especially for mobile users and photo posting. We will continue to fine tune things and appreciate the ■■■■■■■■. We know this will take a little getting used to as we have not really changed the platform in a very long time.

Did we lose our Private Messages?

Thanks,

Bryson

Is there a place to find the “participated” posts for quick reference? Like when you used to be able to click on your screenname and see the last few you posted in?

yes, click your name and you will get a link showing all non-archived posts or recent on the right.
You can also use the forum link above and choose membership to search someone else.

Cool, thanks! I figured I was just overlooking it and being a little too click happy!:+1:

Previous Outbox (sent items)?

You should have a new box in PM that has an arrow with your sent items now

Thank you. I thought maybe the new format was making me work it.
Getting familiar with it and kinda like it. Converting iPad and phone links now.

Anyone else here using Safari with our without success? Since the change I haven’t been able to access the site through Safari on my Mac. Today I downloaded Firefox just to access and ask this question. Attached is a screenshot of my Safari issue. Any help is appreciated. I’m drying up like a fish out of water without access to this site.

Not sure if the attached photo worked. Basically the error message says, "An error has occurred. Please contact the system administrator.

I know someone else was having trouble on a Mac and once the cleared out their cookies everything seemed to work fine for them.

Admins, thanks for the upgrade.
With a little hunt and click, 'finding everything pretty quickly.
Does work MUCH BETTER on my mobiles.
And, 'seems to be faster… but, that’s hard to judge with so many factors involved.

One minor gripe. The color scheme, blue/grey/white, leaves me visually hunting a little. Might it be possible to tweak a css or other to make the links a darker shade or slightly bolder or something? If it is just my 56 yr old eyes, don’t worry about it.

Anyone else finding the color scheme a little vague or muted?

Hmmmm… just noticed… if you have a signature, when you edit a post, it pulls the existing signature into the body of that post and then, upon submit, it adds a new copy of the signature. Doesn’t really hurt anything, but, looks a little wonky.
