New fuel lines/fittings/tank Yamaha 2 stroke 15

Is it worth the additional money to buy OEM fuel connections? What about fuel lines? Do you need a special kind or is the the Moeller or Attwood they sell at west marine ok? What is the use of these new “low perm” fuel lines and portable tanks? Do they offer any benefits to the old style vent cap kind? Last thing, I’ve never owned a two stroke- what’s the best 2stroke oil ? I’m all about paying more if it’ll give me less trouble issues

all new tanks are the EPA rated low permeation tanks, same with the new fuel lines
benefit???
sure, you are saving the planet
the tanks build 2-4psi before venting, creating a potential explosion hazzard
they cost twice as much
the plastic is formulated to not allow microscopic gasoline vapor to permeate through them and into the atmosphere
and this is reducing the MASSIVE amount of greenhouse gasses that are released annually from the millions and millions of 6 gallon tanks,
but, hey, you are saving the planet

on a 2 stroke carbed Yamaha, the only benefit you are going to see my using yamalube, will be less carbon build up.
if you service the motor correctly and do a carbon treat annually like you should, even that wont be an issue
