new gig platform and results

Last friday a friend graciously offered a nice piece of aluminmun and access to all the equipment to set my boat up with a gig platform. Went over there and started on it after work. Well come to find out I wanted a platform but needed a transom. Ended up getting both! Worked on it from 6 to 2 am fri, 11am-2am saturday and another six hours sunday. It went straight to the ocean upon completion and I had a pretty decent night!!

Nice trying to figure out how to gig from my kayak. Any ideas?

wear a bathing suit. hahaha jk. give me a call i got some stuff thatll work for ya (numbers in the pic)

Sniper,
Went gigging back on the 20th and only saw 2 both were under size. but the conditions weren’t good it had rained and the wind was still blowing pretty good but needed to get out.
What kind of lighting are you using, for the last 7 years my job didn’t allow me the chance to gig but that has changed for the good now.

BYTE ME

I have some custom made LEDs that a guy self produces for gigging. im runnin three and uprading to five. A deep cycle battery will power 5 for about 20 hours with a full charge and the lights are water proof so you can run them underwater if you want. extremely bright and no generator required.

Just read your offshore report, and now I’m reading your inshore report. You have a full-blown fishing addiction, my friend. As a fellow addict, I can speak from experience…:wink:

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

BTY the lights are the three silver looking squares on the front of the bow facing the truck. They are LEDs and are superbright. I have some for sale if you are interested

Been looking for some gigging lights, whats the cost for those lights? Thanks.
