What do you guys think about luckycrafts new colors for their $17.99 plug
Spinning reels… Nope
I prefer the clear Zara spooks. Their the same thing but less than half the price… I want to hear from you guys. If you haven’t tried the gun fish or Sammy then you need to.

To rich for my blood though I prefer big plugs. 2oz pencils, large high rollers, sebile 165’s etc. Any brand that I get interested in I usually get the biggest model.
I wish I had half the money that I have wasted on plugs sitting in my garage. But hey fall is here and gizzards will be in the bait shop next week…time to pull out the boards and get back to work…ha

Got a deal on the big Gunfish 135…better than the CC Pencil(@ least head to head this Fall). Got more chrome Super Spooks than anything else.
Like both pencils.
That Sebile 165(& 125 w/ diff. hooks) is a bad girl too!

The clear spook is great for lake murray. I have 2 one I bought and one I found in a dead striper’s mouth about 3 years ago. Barron’s sells the clear.

Yeah … Sammy’s are weighted in the tail so it makes working it easier … CC’s have to be worked more so …

Y’all try the Badonkie Donk, we have found that freshwater stripers love them and you can cast them a mile. Silver/black seems to be the best color

Ghost Minnow has always been my favorite in all Lucky Craft lures.

Striped Shad, Ghost Minnow and Chrome(fav color for stripers in any lure). I replace the hooks w/ 3x Owner trebles. Feathers don’t belong on plugs just flies:smiley:
Largemouth seem to like the GM and SS, but not the chrome so much

Do you take the front treble off? I take the front treble off my 3 treble lures … too much of a pain in the ass to deal with … on my larger lures (Tsunami & Striper Swipers) I replace the back treble with a single
