New Here

Hi ya’ll I’m new here, just moved down from Georgia. I’m mostly a fly fisherman with the exception of I do like a little surf fishing. I fish from a kayak a lot. I don’t know nothing about catching reds and such inshore on the fly-so I’ve got my work cut out. Plan: put the boat in, paddle, paddle, paddle. It’s awesome here. I feel like a wee child on Christmas morning with all this water to get on. Anyway, I’ve enjoyed reading the forums here.

Pictures of fishes, etc.

One not caught on fly.

I’ve got a lot to learn, so I’ll be hanging around.

Proper intro. Don’t see that much around here. Welcome.

That kayak will put you on some serious reds in the grass. Put in some time paddling around and finding flats an you’ll be ready come spring.

A long long slow walk in the spartina gives you time to think big thoughts and put your mind back into order.

I’m over here in Mt Pleasant…you’ve got the right idea with the yak, this time of year the reds school up…when it heats up you’ll have to make your way over here I’ve got a flat right behind the apt with tailing reds on it…if you need any gear hit up LowCountry Fly Shop in Mt P, they will hook you up and point you in the right direction

OK so this guy I like already…even though that counts for nada. Nice fish pics and I’m sure with your attitude that advice will be forthcoming. I plan on riding your coat tails on this thread and seeing what I can learn!
