New Hobie i12 inflatable for sale

If anyone is looking for a great deal, my brother has a brand new Hobie i12 inflatable still in the box. Runs $2250 with shipping online. Make an offer, he just left overseas for a year and doesn’t need it. Great for boaters that don’t have storage, or a big truck to tote, or wants to travel light. Might be great on a sailboat as a dingy, made from very heavy material.

Yep they are interesting - they inflate and are rigid like plastic. They have an inflatable stand-up paddleboard, too. That model like he is selling is like an inflatable Outback…looks nice.

Great option for traveling surf fisherman as well. The package is about the size of a large suitcase, and weighs about 60#. Can go on a plane, in the back of a small SUV for Florida surf fishing excursions, but still get back in the flats with the propulsion.

Someone tell me what a used one of these would be worth with 1-2 years of use, and we would likely sell it for that. Someone can get a brand new with warranty for the price of a 2 year used model.

Edit: Looks like I posted the just released 2016 model. This is the 2015. Link above. It has the regular padded seat, not the new adjustable Vantage seat.

I had a 2009 i14t tandem hobie inflatable. I just sold it for $1500 if that helps you any. I had 5 or 6 people wanting to see it and i got the askng price.

On the kayak itself, it’s definately a niche kayak. But, if you want to kayak fish and dont have a truck or dont want to put a hard yak on the roof, its amazing. I would pull up to the landing and be peddling away from the ramp in no more than 15 minutes. Same when I returned. It’s incredibly stable and an all around great fishing kayak that’ll fit in a trunk.
