I just got my new Humminbird Onix installed on the boat late Friday. I wanted to share some awesome screen captures I took with the unit on Saturday morning. I have been using Lowrance for over 15 years and would not have made the change unless I truly thought their would be some competitive advantages in doing so. I will save the I-pilot Link and Lake Master for another post but wanted to get these captures out there for y’all to look at. The features this unit has are really mind boggling and I thing Striper fishermen will be more receptive to this model over others that Humminbird have had in the past. More good stuff to come…

I wish I could have gotten closer to the towers but there were boats tied up to almost every stack and I did not want to get on top of them. I am not trying to sell the units just provide my results for anybody that is looking. It is great to have brand comparisons from real life fishermen…

The bridge is between Spence and Bomb islands. Find the bouy marker and you are on top of it.
