Attention all Charleston Area kayak anglers!!! Well the rest of ya’ll are welcome too… The Charleston Angler has given us the green light to start our new program, The Charleston Angler Kayak Fishing Club. It is a free club (no dues), we will hold monthly meetings that will rotate to each of our three locations and at every meeting there will be a seminar on something kayak fishing, (Safety, rigging, tips and techniques etc). We will also be doing monthly “Meet and Fish” events, quarterly tournaments and hopefully a yearly big kayak fishing tourney. Membership will only cost ya signing up and participating. A 10% discount will be attached to your membership card. Our first meeting will be Saturday the 23rd of October at 6:30 PM at the Summerville Charleston Angler. Tarpon 120. Boeing has me on that mandatory overtime and I a scheduled to work the weekend of the meeting, but I really want to get involved with kayak fishing locally. So…please post the hightlights of the meeting.

Unfortunately for me all evenings except every other weekend are out.
How about a meet to fish meeting one morning? Some place locally with a
water source to put in and maybe a picnic table or two for the actual
meeting.

Friday and Wednesday are best for me. Sometimes Thursday. It sucks that i work at night but i get to fish during the day when the rest of you suckers are working:stuck_out_tongue:

No problem bro… I already gopt you on the member list for anyone who can;t make it… stop in to any of the Charleston Anglers and I will have reg forms there later this week. Sign it and they will forward it to me and we will add you to the list. We’ll try and make the meetings easier for everyone in the future. I got over there and signed up. I got my weekends back now, the mandatory
overtime was removed at work so I will have that Tarpon out on the water.
