new minnkota terrova mounted

we received the new terrova/80#/60" i-pad with wireless remote today. jeremy came up and we mounted it on the boat. seems to work great. probably will not take us more than a year to learn how to use it. ha ha. it sure looks good on the front of the seapro. i am a happy man. going to give it a tryout on saturday.

Man I hope that serves you well!! I just ordered a Riptide ST/54"/70# tonight with the i-Pilot. 24V. I may be wrong, but I gathered the terrova are more for freshwater. Maybe that is all you fish, but I was curious if you planned to fish salt or if you heard some good durability news for using their “fresh” water line in salt.
From all I’ve heard and seen, Minn Kota has some great stuff! Congrats!

i hardly ever fish salt water. if i do it is for shrimping and i remove the trolling motor so that it is not in the way. i love the quick release pad that we also put on the boat. just pull the u/handle and it is off. also; have not heard or done any research on using this in salt. i figure if you wash it up and take care of it then it should not be much of a problem considering the limited use in salt that i would have.

i bought the riptide 70lb with 54" shaft and i-pilot. It really is the neatest thing using the anchor function instead of a real anchor. I have not played with the path record etc… yet, but I love this motor.
