Spiders don’t bother me. Spider webs creep me out. I can feel them on me the rest of the day if I get into one.
I have a pair of coveralls a spray sock I put on when I have to crawl under the house I hate it.

You probably know this…
Don’t let your flange for your toilet get recessed down into the backer board and the tile. Have seen it Manny times and it’s a pain in the butt. Then you need an oversized wax ring. And it’s hard to get to seal even then.

Thanks for the heads up on the flange! Im new to tile and seriously thinking about doing it myself… been watching videos and reading a lot but im not certain yet. Still have to finish scraping ceilings and then plumb and electrical rough in… so i have a little time to think on it haha

On a scaled 1 to 10 laying tile is about a 3. You can buy all your tools for less than a fourth of what it would cost you to have someone lay it .
