New PB flounder in February???

Went flats fishing yesterday and the wind didnt let me see any. Went to a saltwater pond and caught my new pb flounder on my 3rd cast. Never got another bite for 2 hours. Never seen bigger filets come off of a fish, had enough for 3 dinners.

Salt water ponds or good ponds in general are hard to get information. I’ve seen a report on here about flounder and the guy caught them in a pond, a buddy of mine watched him and his report said he caught them in the surf or an inlet, I forget. I wouldn’t even report a where at if I was gonna lie about it. The dnr is doing a fish rodeo at a salt pond if you are interested to check out there website. I think its mostly targeted for kids and new fishers.
