New SCDNR Marine Stocking Research Program website

Hi guys,

I want to let you know that the DNR has just released a new website for the marine stocking research program http://www.dnr.sc.gov/marine/stocking here in South Carolina. It has links for fishermen to report tagged fish and request fin clip collection kits as well as information on all of our research. Be sure to click the links for additional information on the research page. If you click on the map in the stocking locations page, it will show you what has been stocked in each location since 2000. Through the management tab you can find the fisheries management plans for each of the species we work with. I hope you find it informative and useful and would love to get any ■■■■■■■■ on what you like or don’t like about it.

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving,

Karl Brenkert

Nice website, very informative and interesting. I think SCDNR does a great job!

Sweet, this will be great. Can’t wait to check it out when I am on a real computer and not the phone.

What happened to Wally Jenkins? I didn’t see him listed on your staff page. I remember him being the main redfish and striper guy back in the day. He retire?
