Fits Johnson 250 hp from early 1980s until present. I had a 2000 Johnson Ocean Pro but have since sold it and boat. I bought this lower unit for that engine, installed the lower driveshaft and then decided to sell the boat/package with the OE lower unit so this unit has never been in the water. I did have to remove the unit drive shaft after I had just installed it, this breaking the clip that holds in in place ( normal procedure, clip will break every time lower drive shaft is removed ). It does need a new clip installed. There is a small piece of the lower rear fin broke, right above the bullet( have no idea how that happened, I just removed the lower unit from the box today and was it broke ). These units are $845…Asking $400. I think the clip is pretty simple to replace. I can’t get the pics to upload but can send them to any email address. Thanks…Steve 864-360-2208
