New St Croix rod

I got a St Croix Reign rod yesterday… man waht a nice rod… easy to load and casts a mile… between that and the new March Brown I got I am in heaven :wink::smiley: I always heard that a good rod always made casting easier and now I know what ya’ll mean

What weight?

I picked up a 6wt Reign last month and am in LOVE with it.

Is that their new top of the line rod? I’ve had an 8 wt Legend Ultra for 6 years and it still kicks butt.

Quite the opposite, this is one step up from their starter rod. The Reign runs about $150, but is a LOT of rod for the money.

9’ 6wt Reign… same as yours… yer right AWESOME rod… I was tearin the lips off the bream in the back yard last night with it…:smiley: My March Brown is an 8wt and holy smokes dude… if you haven’t tried one out we’ll have to tlak when I get back… as a matter of fact I may get tom come home after our “training” for a month so I may be abck for the end of Sept before I head over so if I do we’ll go throw the long rods after some fall reds… I’ll keep ya posted…

When can also look at doing some nighttime dock light fishing for some specks. Good luck over there and hopefully you can get back soon.
