Went out bottom bumping sat. and caught the usual bottom dwellers and also released 8 Genuine Reds which are also starting to fall in that category. We also caught 2 grouper and 1 African Pompano, But the highlight of the day was when we put a huge Yellowtail in the boat. When we got back to the hill, I looked up the current state record which is 10lbs 8oz. I thought this one actually had a shot. I put it on the scales at home and it was 8lbs 8oz. Not a new record but was surely a really nice fish.
