Did you catch any good bait?Thats the most important thing.

No auto bilge pump, no alarm?

I left plug out jon boat one time. I noticed it when my feet got wet. Grabbed the plug & jump overboard to put it in. Soaked my billfold & ruined my phone.
Lesson learned.

That’s one thing I like about my kencraft there’s an access door overtop the bilge plug so I put it in from the deck if pump stops I can pull it while running to drain it.

I’ve forgotten mine once or twice, usually when I get in a hurry and don’t follow my “make ready” routine. My bilge will drain once I get up on plane and I can put my plug in from the inside so. Hard to believe a boat that size doesn’t have an automatic bilge pump.

Happened when I was a teenager at Wiltown Landing. About to push boat off the trailer and saw water coming in. Pulled the trailer out. Plug had gone missing. Used a fishing float/cork as a plug.

Mite be some sheeps on there by now

I must go catch me up some fittlers…!
