New T-top installed

After looking around for a nice but not so expensive T-Top I ordered a Fishmaster top and it was delivered the next day , Short trip from Ga.

Anyway I wanted to post so some folks who would like a little first hand experience on a fold-able top . All looked good and it is sturdy , not expensive either $995 shipped to my door .

But can you still get out your carport?

Edit: Never mind, it folds[:I]

Larry , I just take the wheels off and drag it out of the carport .
Really it has 6 inches of clearance closer to the center . Maybe I can back in at an angle and take it loose from the truck then roll the hitch over . If that don’t work , like you said fold it down or I have 2 sheds next to my shop that is taller .

I know the top is not the quality of the ones you posted but the welds look good and the boat is a 2000 model , couldn’t see putting a $3500 top on it if ya know what I mean

Nothing wrong with that. It looks good and meets your needs. I once put a T-top on a boat, then found out I couldn’t pull it out of my shed [:I] It fit fine in the middle, but wouldn’t clear the edge. Had to take it off, pull out and re-install it. Which is why I asked  Looks really nice for the price:sunglasses:

^I was talking to this guy the other day who that happened too. Put a T-Top on in his garage/carport and it was a few inches too tall because he measured from the outside to the ground and the inside of the garage was on a slab up a few inches (or something like that)…said he was really pissed at himself but realized if he flattened the tires on his trailer he could just barely clear the ledge

Can you post pics of it folded down by chance? I just bought a 19’ bay boat and that is an idea I’ve been pondering on. I am curious as to How it folds down and how tall it is once it’s folded down.

Rob how about a link so you might get a view of it down . I might not ever fold mine down unless I need to get under a bridge where the stripers are running .
They give you an allen wrench to do it with but I might cut off an allen wrench to fit a battery drill to make it faster if I see I am going to let it down very much .

Did you “Through bolt” the top? What did you use to seal around the penetrations?

5200 for the seal which came with the kit . yes on the thru bolt

I had a couple friends help me with mine and I will say installation was pretty simple. Two buddies, cooler of beer, it was out of the box and installed on the boat in less than two hours. It took a little while to thread the top on but I have been pleased with it.

How much does it weigh? I didn’t see the weight on the website.

Mine came in 2- 45# boxes .

WITH THE COOLER M OF BEER DID IT END UP INSTALLED BACKWARDS?

WE HAVE INSTALLED A FEW OVER THE YEARS, AND ITS A GREAT WAY TO GET A T-TOP WITHOUT SPENDING A FORTUNE
