New Tactic - need help!

I recently brought my old inflatable pontoon one seater boat back down here and am going to take her out for the first time tomorrow morning. It’s one of those pontoon boats with the reinforced bottom to protect it from rocks, etc. I was wondering where a good place would be to launch from and try fishing. Normally when I go out I’m in a flats boat, center console or something with a motor so water/wind conditions or distance doesn’t really matter. This boat has two oars, so this is totally new to me. Does anyone have any good advice on launch sites or spots to try that aren’t A) way out there - remember I’m rowing; and B) not in a very boat congested or turbulent waters? (spots that would produce fish aren’t a bad thing either  haha)

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I’ve been waiting a long time to finally try her out!

Freshwater or salt?

Saltwater. Im looking to launch in the west ash, sullivans, IOP, Mt. p, etc areas.

Old bridge in Mt P has a nice launch, can get busy in the ICW though. Paradise landing never seems to have too much traffic…

All fishermen are liers except me and you and I’m not sure about you.

Paradise Landing would be a good spot…wouldn’t have to go too far to mess with the fish, either. Good luck!

+1 Paradise. Headed there today mysef
