well i remembered the clocks were moving forward, so i timed it just right. was at the spot at first light.
reds were crashing the creek mouths.[:0][:0][:0]
out flew the zara spook jr. and BAMMM!!! first topwater bite of the year, spring is officially here 
plenty missed it on topwater but caught 2 more, then the wind kicked up 
oh well was awesome while it lasted
pulled a trout on a freelined DOA shrimp on the way back too.

Good work. I slept in, didn’t hit the water til 11 am and nailed 2 reds in the first 15 minutes before the wind started howling. Too late for the topwater bite, so Z Man ultrashrimp fished slow did the trick.
