New to Charleston "need advice please"

Hey hows it going im new here from Lasvegas with my wife. We live in north Charleston and have been trying to find good places to fish that are close, “saltwater”. We have been to Daniel Island off the pier. and to county farm pier. where else is some good spots. Thanks

There is a park in north Charleston on the cooper, a very nice place to go. I think its on the old navy base, heard it’s got good fishing.

It will be slower from bank locations until the summer. You will find fish but they will few and far between. Once it warms you will see a lot of action from the bank

experience noun \ik-#712;spir–#601;n(t)s

  1. the fact or state of having been affected by or gained knowledge through direct observation or participation

  2. that thing you get just moments after you needed it.

There are some excellent guides and charters in the area, you can search this site or check out the forums and enjoy some in water fishing, it will be much slower off of the banks or pier this time of year, you need a boat to go out and find them…just search the forums there is tons of great information, and enjoy

Looks like a very fishy area.

I’ve never personally fished off the pier under the cooper river bridge but I hear there are a lot of Flounder on the mud flat if casting towards Patriots Point.

Pitt Street Pier in Mount Pleasant is fun. I haven’t caught a lot of keepers, but it’s a beautiful view!
