what types of flies yall been using for spotail? and can you use flys to catch spotted sea trout? if so which kind of flies?

Tie up a few Clousers, Copper Heads, Kwans & Slider type flies with some weight and a little less flash. Just keep it simple, suttle and neutral this time of year unless you go to the other extreme and get really funky, with something like Electric Chicken or Texas Chicker aka Tuttie Frutie. I’d still take it easy on the flash in the clearer water. Just make sure that you play around with your weighting so you don’t spook the schools your casting to.
