new to forum!

Hi guys and gals, I wanted to say hello. I just joined the group here. I am on the Georgia Kayak Fishing forum and those guys told me to check this out for fishing in Charleston and Kiawah. I hope you all can help me!
I am going to be staying on Kiawah during the week of August 16-23. My buddy and I are bringing our kayaks and are hoping to do something with them this year! We managed to get out for 2 hours last year but the tide was dead low and really, we didn’t know what we were doing! The only that we caught was a shrimp that jumped into my kayak!
We launched at a ramp that apparently we weren’t suppose to. It was a public place but there is some sort of club or company that runs kayaks out of there. They were nice about it but I didn’t want to intrude again. Where could we launch that is close to where we are staying? We are staying on the beach, just past the really nice Whole Foods or supermarket like that one. Sorry, I can’t remember the name. We wanted to fish the marshes that is just 5 minutes from us instead of launching off the beach. We were after anything but hoping for some reds and trout. That launch spot was only about 1-2 miles from the mouth of the marsh to the ocean.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

If it’s a public launch then launch your boat and tell those jackasses to get bent! It irritates me when peolpe think they can pick and choose who uses a PUBLIC launch… What launch is that… I’ll make a few trips down there :imp::wink: shoot me an e-mail and I’ll send ya some info…

He took the jugbelly clouser like an anemic sea trout on crack…
